Dr Gist was excellent! She read my file, listened to me and did an exam. She got me an ultrasound same day to diagnose the blood clots in my leg. Then she called me to explain the findings and put the referral into the anti-coagulation pharmacy team. The result was that I had medication to treat the blood clots the same day they were diagnosed. Dr. Gist had never met me before but gave me excellent treatment with respect and dignity. I'm so very grateful!
Dr Darnella Gist was my primary care in Racine and I followed her to Milwaukee.
Dr. Gist is always thorough. Always digging into possible issues. Always responding to messages I've sent her through the website. Dr. Gist has been my doctor for many years and I have always been very satisfied with the care I've received. Shes very pleasant to talk to and I have always felt comfortable with her. She listens to my questions and her answers are easy to understand. My appointments have never been rushed and she gives the time needed. As someone else stated, more doctors should be like her.
