I’ve been Dr. Gist patient for more than 15 years. She’s tthe best doctor I’ve ever had. She’s very patient, ask you questions and address all of your concerns. When she left Racine County, I thought I lost her forever but then later found out she in the Milwaukee county. I sought her out and now I am her patient again. I am so glad to be her patient. Dr Gist was excellent! She read my file, listened to me and did an exam. She got me an ultrasound same day to diagnose the blood clots in my leg. Then she called me to explain the findings and put the referral into the anti-coagulation pharmacy team. The result was that I had medication to treat the blood clots the same day they were diagnosed. Dr. Gist had never met me before but gave me excellent treatment with respect and dignity. I'm so very grateful!
Dr Darnella Gist was my primary care in Racine and I followed her to Milwaukee.
Dr. Gist is always thorough. Always digging into possible issues. Always responding to messages I've sent her through the website. I've visited many doctors with other family members and heard my family gripe about their care. Never had any gripes with Dr. Gist. Have transferred some of my local family to her care.
