I appreciate that Dr. Darlington just takes care of my teeth. He doesn't try to sell you cosmetic treatments. He cleans your teeth himself. I appreciate that. He just does what needs to be done and nothing more. Great service and staff.
Dr. D and staff were pleasant, kind, and professional. I didn’t wait at all to be taken back. My cleaning was efficient. My exam was thorough. Dr D suggested several options to fix my broken filling. He gave me several options with lots of details about each of them. In the end, we decided to put a crown on it. It looks and feels great! I think I found my new favorite dentist!
I’ve been going to Dr. Darlington for many years. He is always kind, patient, and conservative with his diagnoses. He doesn’t overcharge for things I don’t need done. He does his own cleanings, which is awesome! He doesn’t scrape my teeth until they bleed (unless I haven’t been taking good care of them LOL), is efficient, and only does what needs to be done for my dental health. I trust that he is not doing things I don’t need or suggesting treatment that is unnecessary. The staff is fantastic!
No I would not recommend Dr Darlington. He does the cleanings himself. It was rushed and of poor quality. My teeth do not feel clean. He did not measure all my teeth pocket depths, do x-rays or have my records from my previous dentist. I feel like I need another dental cleaning but have to wait 6 months due to insurance.
Dr Darlington is very nice, and from what I have read, he is a good dentist. But we didn’t need dental work, we made an appointment to have our teeth cleaned. We were not told that they did not have a hygienist. We did not get a thorough cleaning, and the assistant that did the polishing was not very experienced in polishing adults teeth. Our teeth do not feel clean. Dr Darlington should stick to regular dentistry and hire a hygienist to do the cleanings!
I went in expecting to have a tooth pulled---then a bridge or in-plant. Very expensive/lots of money for him. Instead, he said he might be able to pull the crown, saw out the bad root, then, replace the crown. It worked!!!! He saved the tooth and saved me a pile of money---at his cost. Great integrity!!!!
Dr. Darlington’s staff is great: 5 stars for friendliness & customer service. Easy to get an appointment. Problem is, the doctor tends to rush. Cleanings I’ve had weren’t thorough. I had a couple of teeth w/ root wear b/c of exposure from braces. He recommended fillings, but didn’t tell me there were several options or explain any risks. I had zero pain before the procedure; now I’m in constant pain. To their credit, they refunded my money, but the damage is done. I won’t go back.
Dr. Darlington is fantastic! He is absolutely the most quick, concise and observant dentist I have ever gone to and I will no longer go to anyone else. Dr. D knows when work is required and when its not. It's hard to come by an honest dentist just like a mechanic but he will never do work that is unnecessary. I was told by my previous dentist that I needed 3-4 fillings yet I didn't have any discomfort. I went to him for a second opinion and found out only one was really in need of being filled.

Dr. Darlington is very kind, gentle, and very professional. Our family has been in Flagstaff for almost 18 years and he has been our only dentist. He is great with the kids. His staff is amazing. Jen has been with him for 15 years and she always puts a smile on my face. When I call to make our appointments, she knows exactly who I am. The staff has always made us feel like family. I would recommend Dr. Darlington for all your dental needs.
