Got the double cheeseburger and was very much impressed from first bite through to the last. Three of my kids took bites off of it and barely made a dent. Would 100% go out of my way to go back.
The food was delicious. The service was great very knowledgeable and friendly.
We enjoy all the aspects of the Dark Horse. They hold true to having the BBIT ( best breakfast in town.) Prices are great, the food is always delicious. You can't go wrong eating here. It is as close to home cooked as you can get.
Food was fantastic. My 83 yr old father has the perch sandwich said it was the best perch he has ever had. French onion soup was great and veggies on sandwich you could tell were very fresh. The tomatoes tasted like they were just picked. We will be back to try breakfast.
Came here for the first time in awhile. They had no beers on draft, which doesnt make a lot of sense since they seem to advertise a full service bar. Thought I'd treat myself to a steak. They supposedly are known for prime rib, which ought to mean they can cook a steak. Not so. Not only was it overly rare. But parts of it were completely inedible and couldn't be cut with a steak knife. It was supposed to be a ribeye. Never had trouble cutting one before today.
