I went in today for a filling and was told beforehand that my insurance would cover it. After they did the exam, they suddenly told me insurance would not cover it. I was then charged $175 just for two X-rays and a brief exam. Absolutely horrible experience. Very misleading. Do not go here.
Everyone was so sweet and listened to my issues and gave clear options. The nurse and dentist both were incredible as well as the front office staff.

My visit to Flint River Dental on Feb. 4, 2026 found the same outstanding care and friendly staff. The entire cleaning procedure and wait time took less than 40 minutes. They continue to earn my 5-star rating. Another visit to my favorite dentist on 10/01/25 for xrays and cleaning at their new location next to Taco Bell on Winchester Rd. They also did a follow-up evaluation of my periodontal gum disease treated by laser a year ago. All went well and no infection.
