To anyone who is looking into birthing here, let me just say that it was the best decision I've ever made. The care you receive is top notch and it's very personal. Every single member of the staff is amazing. They show their dedication and passion for their work in every single interaction and you know they really care about you and your baby. I just birthed at UNMH on Saturday morning, even though we had planned to birth at Dar a Luz Birth & Health Center. Thank you so much for the amazing collaborative work that is done between the birth center, Dr. Leeman's team, as well as UNMH Family & Community Medicine that allowed me to birth naturally using Blissborn Birth Hypnosis. We had an amazing experience birthing our there baby girl yesterday. Wonderful amenities and even better care and community. We felt like it was both a safe and respectful atmosphere for the entire process.
I had my baby here on Friday and it was the best experience I've ever had. It completely changed how I feel about birth whereas before I was so scared and had a bad experience with my first born. The midwives are amazing here and take excellent care of you and the baby. I really feel we couldn't have had better care through pregnancy, birth, and everything after.
