After a very PTSD first baby delivery I went looking for alternatives to hospital care. I have since had two babies at Dar a Luz. Both experiences were great. So happy to have such resource that cares about you as an individual and not just a number during their shift.
Dar a Luz is my birth home. The space, the staff, the midwives, the instructors, the support....I could go on and on about the many things that drew me in. I had my youngest here and am waiting on Dar a Luz baby #2 to arrive any day now. I am so thankful for Dar a Luz, for Abigail and all the people who have worked so hard to make this birthing option available to Albuquerque mommas!
We love Dar a Luz! We ended up being transferred to UNMH for spontaneous labor at 35 weeks but the support we received from the midwives before, during and after was incredible. We just made it home yesterday with our little guy and we feel so thankful that we are a part of the community here. Thank you for all you do and for the incredible individual care you give to the whole family. ♡
