3 years ago, she made my right shoulder good as new (it needed a LOTof repairs). She did my left shoulder 6 weeks ago, and I'm currently in the Physical Therapy stage. I hope I never have any other issues, but she's who I'd go to if I do.
Dr. Danya Josserand, performed a reverse shoulder replacement in September of 2020. My shoulder surgery went great! I have had no complications. I went to Dr. Josserand because I needed a left shoulder replacement and other issues with the shoulder. She explained what all needed to be done and operated on it. I'm still in the healing process, after 4 days only 1 prescribed pain pill a day and after 8 days off that pain med all together. I had a good experience with her throughout this process and would recommend her.

Dr. Josserand showed me the injuries on the MRI and recommended surgery. She provided me a very detailed protocol to prepare for surgery, which I carefully followed. Surgery involved a rotator cuff repair, biceps tenodesis, with extensive debridement of the shoulder joint. Dr. Josserand was caring, compassionate and shared her knowledge. I felt I could ask her questions and receive an easy to understand explanation of symptoms, restoration, and physiology.
I have visited her only once for a shoulder injury. Dr. Josserrand was very professional. Review my X-ray with me. Order additional test. Going back in a few days for MIR reading. I now have faith in her after only one visit. More information after follow up visits.
If you need shoulder surgery, look no further. My wife had numerous problems with her shoulder - she needed her rotator cuff repaired, her bicep tetomized, 2 tears, large and small bone spurs and a distal clavicle repaired. And I don't know what half that means. But Dr. J took it all on. She'll give you the straight scoop on pain, recovery, limitations of movement, etc. She's enthusiastic, she listens and she knows her stuff. She's confident without being arrogant. Because of a severe rotator cuff tear and extensive arthritis, I had to have a TOTAL REVERSE Shoulder replacement. I was concerned about surgery, but Dr. Josserand explained the need for the procedure and the limitations I would have after surgery. I knew from the start how much rehabilitation would be required, for how long, and what outcome I could expect. Dr.Josserand, now practicing in Tulsa,OK is a wonderful caring individual and I would not hesitate to recommend her to family & friends.
