On all counts - we are happy with Danville Veterinary Hospital. They seem to love our dog as much as we do....
I have been looking for a good vet for a long time with no luck. I have been here twice now with a dog who is borderline traumatized by any outsiders. They have been WONDERFUL with her, patient, kind, firm but caring. They took the time to learn she does better with them if I’m not around (I feel 100% comfortable with them taking her away) and she always comes back happy and looking like she was just away getting love and treats the whole time. It is a very nice place to work at!!
They take reptiles! The vet was very knowledgeable and friendly. She practically printed out a book about bearded dragon care. She asked me about my set up, lights, temps, supplements, where I get my feeders, if I had a scale, ect. It’s good to know there’s a vet in town that takes reptiles!

Everyone that my dog and I have met have been extremely accommodating, and thoughtful to my dogs condition. Dr. Shelly DeBoer is by far the best Dr. my dog, Gus, has seen. She is very thoughtful, listens to me and my concerns, and even checks in regularly to see how Gus is doing. I have not received that kind of care for my dog from anyone else. Danville Veterinary Hospital is a class act and truly care about what they do and will go the extra mile for you.
