I encountered the same thing as other reviewer. I had already checked the sensor and the light would only go on part time; the wires were old, brittle and needed jiggling to work. The DOD repairman came out and repaired an unrelated problem, billed us $150 and the garage door still didn't work. We called them again. You have to be home(so more time taken off work), the repairman arrives and I tell him it's the sensor/light. Guess what; I was right.
