RecommendedDanny's is my go to place for BBQ.Upon arrival the mgr.said all she had available for seating was a small table.i asked why we couldn't sit at a larger table.she anticipated a full house..the restaurant was empty,but wait there are 2 other couples seated at larger tables.i payed no attention to her n sat at a larger table..when we finished the restaurant was still empty..this is not the 1st time..but I still go back..she's rude.never smiles..needs to dress up a little..honestly I should have stopped going a long time ago.but... read more

We had a group of 18 Scouts and were looking for a place to dine for dinner. I called and advised them we had a group of 18 and can we be seated for dinner? The lady replied sure, come on over. I replied great, we will be there in 10 minutes. On arrival there were 3 people standing in line and I approached the hostess stating I had just called about a group of 18. The manager, is one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever met. I’m from out of town and I’m sure she knew it, but my lord show some respect for the ones that come to enjoys themselves and eat good food. Foods good, but she’s awful.

I have very high standards for Bar B Que. This is the best of the three places in Carlsbad. Both on sides and on BBQ. I didn’t try the many non bar b que items but the place is interested in quality. You should try it out. Easy to pass up on Busy canal St. Approach from Walmart Direction and turn right slightly after the Csnal St. light.
We are from out of town great place if you want to eat BBQ and great service...

we love Danny's place we order it to go about once a week for a family of four. I reccomend them to all the people I work with coming in from out of town. I do have to say the 3 meat combos have been very disappointing a lot lately as all the portions have shrunk but it's still expensive we've thought about switching bbq places over it.

the meat quality was excellent, the sweeter BBQ sauce was so tasty and the Cole slaw was good.
I have to go to Danny's every time I am in Carlsbad. Good food ..good service....and good atmosphere....
