This place has decent reviews, however, the food was cold, toast was cold and stale, sausage was bland as was the pulled pork. The Mac n cheese tasted like Kraft. They were out of okra and mashed potatoes with gravy. I may be biased as I live in Texas but you might not want to make this place a stop when in town.
Everytime we order they mess up our order and then they don't ever answer phone or they leavei it off the hook everyday there's and I mean I call alot of times

Really miss this place since we moved. Will visit when in Carlsbad. Was a frequent place for us for many years.
The BBQ was great and service too.
Usually really great food but today our fries were undercooked and the cashier woman was rude as hell. She basically threw my boyfriends debit card at him not once but twice! 😂 Guess she was having a bad day!
Our food was cold! Not to mention what was warm was served in styrofoam bowls. Our food looked and also tasted dry from being rewarmed. The sodas and pink lemonade do not taste good not sure if it was the ice, the drink or the cups. Possibly all of the above because cups are dirty as heck! The ribs & meats don’t looked fully cooked. Made an old woman in a walker move tables after they said to sit there...in the meantime 2 other tables were set in the new section so we waited .....won't go back!

Deborah, I'm disappointed to hear this. Can you give me more information about the date/time/server of your visit? I want to look further into this, as this is not acceptable.
The BBQ ribs are good, the rest not so much. The reason I will never step a foot back in there is the manager is the rudest person I've ever met. She treats customers horrible as well as the staff. I absolutely will not spend another dollar in that place. Do yourself a favor and avoid it.
