As you can see in the photo, "Be Kind" is written right there on the building, but the grumpy grandpa running the place is anything but kind. Maybe even the building owner wanted him to be kind, but that wish comes true to the 2nd floor, not the shop. Or maybe should customer be kind to the grandpa? We rented bikes from Daniel’s and had a very poor experience from start to finish. The bikes were old, rusted, and poorly maintained. Multiple gears didn’t work correctly, the brakes barely functioned, and one bike had flat tires that I had to inflate myself before we could even ride. The helmets provided were heavily worn, and the lock included with the rental was just a basic cable lock. Such a grumpy grandpa
Owner decided to close the storetwice without warning
The rental guy told me it was a brand new bike, but once I get about a half a mile into my ride I discovered brakes were so loud people turned and stared. The gears kept slipping when I was shifting. I had asked him to raise the seat but he said it was perfect. I stopped to raise the seat later because it was uncomfortable, but realized that you needed a tool.
