Absolutely phenomenal doctor. My wife had a great birth with her at GW. Highly recommend! I truly can’t believe these 1 star reviews. She is great!
Deeply disappointed in the care I received from Dr. Morton. On a Friday, I walked in informing her that for 4 days prior I was experiencing symptom of a UTI. My concerns were dismissed, did not feel heard. She did not prescribe a prescription. Instead told me to use an estrogen cream and drink cranberry juice. Left urinalysis. I was not comfortable with her not prescribing a prescription I was in pain, I had an infection for goodness sake’s! Dr. Morton saw me in the Emergency Room at GWU after I went in for severe pain in the right side of my abdomen. Initially, the resident physician told me there was concern for ovarian torsion and that I might need emergency surgery that same night. However, when Dr. Morton evaluated me, she minimized my symptoms and told me it was likely just ovulation pain. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and truly concerned that patient health could be placed at risk. I went to Dr. Morton due to ongoing abdominal pain. During my examination, the student assisting caused me significant pain, which should have indicated that something more serious was occurring. Unfortunately, this concern was not addressed.
