I had emergency surgery with Dr. Beharie. After the surgery, I had trouble breathing, diarrhea, and sharp pain in my right thigh. When I told her about these symptoms, she wrote “everything is normal” in my notes. She dismiss your symptoms and does not care. Later that same day, my regular doctor saw me, listened, and began treatment right away. If there were ratings below one I would rate it. She is definitely not a person to go. Please do not ever go to her. My wife suffered residue post delivery and she totally ignored our concerns and instead spoke in a threatening way to us in the ER. My wife suffered heavy blood loss. We had our residue removed back in India. She is not at all a good doctor I raised complaint in Stanford but none of them helped and instead she escaped by saying she couldn’t see the residue which was totally wrong. Dr beharie is an amazing OB/GYN. My husband and I chose to work under her care for our first pregnancy and we could not be happier with her and her office. She is extremely knowledgeable, explains things in an easy to understand way, and is very friendly and personable. I think it's hard to find a doctor who is not only smart but also personable. She also takes time to answer all our questions at each appointment and we never feel rushed. I would highly recommend Dr Beharie for your OB/GYN care.

Dr. Beharie performed a hysteroscopy on me, which led to an infection and a tubo-ovarian abscess. She discharged me before the infection was properly controlled, resulting in a second emergency visit and hospitalization that nearly cost me my life. During my hospitalization, she failed to conduct a physical examination, not even checking my abdomen despite my infection and severe abdominal pain. Based on this experience, I would never recommend this doctor.
