I went in after fracturing my L1 vertebrae. Dr Shanbhag was very concerned and showed true compassion regarding my condition. His advice and management of my pain was very much appreciated. Initially may have needed surgery but he referred me to a surgeon who suggested against the surgery.I truly appreciate how I was treated by the staff and Doctor Shanbhag and would recommend him to anyone with spine and or pain issues.

1. Appointments were rushed2. There was no real discussion or options, he had no other options for me, my case is rather hard.3. Lived in the office he does several shots that last for a minute literally, then deal with the pain of the procedure4. My first visit with Dr. Cherrick was a televisit. He prescribed morphine and other pain meds. I trusted doctors and followed his direction to the tee for a little over a year. I was then at the office for a scheduled follow up when I was told I am no longer a patient there. (?) I was totally confused. Then a PA or NP came in and told me I was discharged (unbeknownst to me) a mo. ago and accused me of misusing my meds. (?) I demanded a pill count (which didn’t happen) and a drug test. Incompetent, inexperienced with injections. Hit the wrong spot on my sciatica nerve and it’s been more than 5 and half months I am still devastated with sciatica nerve pain, glutes and hamstring pain, numbness, burning, calf lathegic, muscle weakness and atrophy, back pain (that I never had before) .
