I've been seeing Dr. Dan since 2011 when my internist first suspected I had a cardiac issue. He was and is everything you want from a doctor and cardiologist: patient, kind, well-informed, and expert in his field. When I developed a serious problem that eventually required open-heart surgery, he helped me find the best surgeon and hospital and saw me through my recovery every step of the way. He always takes the time to explain everything and, unlike most doctors, is available by email.
He has shown an excellent level of availability and follow up. His clarity and focus and plan for my situation has been outstanding. He has been encouraging and supportive around any concerns I have had. I believe my improvement following my angioplasty has been dramatic based on his attention to my situation and his recommendations. His manner is reassuring. He is always responsive to any questions and available if followups have been needed. I recommend him highly!
Dr. Dan has been my cardiologist for 15 years. He is very friendly, easy to talk to (confide in) and I feel as though I'm getting the best, most personal care possible. He's a great guy to have in your corner. The office staff is awesome, very efficient and always accessible. Some of the office nurses and staff have been there longer than I have been a patient there.
Dr. Daniel Wohlgelernter is a superior cardiologist and a compassionate human being. He takes care of your whole being and is very easy to talk to. His ultimate concern is for your health and everything that affects your health He really listens and answers all of your questions in depth. I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Wohlgelernter.
I have been with Dr. Wohlgelernter for over 17 years. During times where the medical field is so challenging for patients, Dr. Wohlgelertner knowledge, professionalism and care are second to none. I feel as sense of security and confidence under his care.
Dr. Wohlgelernter is not only an amazing doctor, but an amazing person as well. He is my mom's cardiologist and I can not say enough good things about him. He spends as much time as needed with her and is always available and very caring. I truly can not recommend him highly enough!
Dr. Dan as we call him is truly an outstanding doctor/cardiologist. Dr. Dan has great academic credentials, Yale Medical School, and a wealth of experience. He's very easy to talk to and you get your questions thoroughly answered. For those that want a concierge physician, Dr. Dan is a great choice. He is my mother in law's concierge physician and he gets involved in broader medical issues in that capacity. He saved my mother in law's life by intervening in a non cardiology issue.
Dr Wohlgelernter (Dr. Dan) is a wonderful doctor. He makes you feel comfortable and reassured. He gives you his full attention during appointments and shows sincere interest in getting to know you, and what's going on in your life. It's obvious he factors activity and lifestyle into one's heart health. Recently I emailed him a question and he got back to me right away! I was impressed and grateful.
Dr. Wohlgelernter is the best of the best cardiologists in Los Angeles. He is exceptionally kind, caring, and most importantly, an outstanding physician. I have seen him for twenty years and recently underwent open heart surgery. The care he and his staff provided could not have been better. (Because he was paying attention, I am still alive!)
