Human, warm and friendly. Takes time to explain and to answer questions.
I have been a patient of Dr. Wohlgelernter for approximately 20 years and have had dozens of appointments. Without exception, he has always showed me his absolute attention to every issue during our lengthily visits. In addition to the fact that he is a brilliant doctor, he is caring, compassionate, informative, and always with a smile.
Dr. Wohlgelernter always takes me on time and is very efficient during my office visit. He asks me appropriate questions and takes the time to answer mine. He is a very compassionate and caring person and easy to talk to. I feel very fortunate to be in his care.
Very smart and knowledgeable, but also very open to patient input. Interested in a wholistic approach including diet and exercise and is motivational without being harsh -More than willing to allow some lifestyle tweaking to see if it works(In my case , fasting to lower blood pressure) but will let you know when it’s time to go another direction.

Dr. Dan is the best, not only is he a great cardiologist he treats you like a human not just a number, like so many other doctors. He treats you like family.

I have been seeing Dr. Wohlgelernter since 2011. He has always been the best at care, at communication, and, in my case making a difficult diagnosis, revealing a condition that if left untreated would have been fatal. He strongly believes in taking time with his patients to talk about their lives, their general health, and explain everything in detail. Also, miraculously for this day and age, he responds promptly to emails, usually within minutes. If you need a cardiologist, do yourself a favor and see 'Dr. Dan.'
