Dr. Pio was scheduled to speak with my girlfriend today at 8:20am. No one called her. She later contacted his office. They said Dr. Pio will contact her no later than 9:30am. She never received a call from Dr. Pio. She was marked with not attending her appointment, "on the encountered date". Dr. Pio note is not right, and the first time seeing my girlfriend. She felt Dr. Pio was in a rush for not thoroughly checking her concerns.
I had a good experience with Dr Pio , this was my first visit as new Patient . He listened to what I had to say and was on top of what I would need and should get, also was quick to schedule me for other needs I had.
Dr. Daniel Pio shamed me for not seeing him in 3 years, 1 and half of which was during the covid 19 pandemic, and then refused to make a note in my medical record that I felt he was miss handling my medical needs. He did end up documenting what I asked HOWEVER only half documented in my visit notes and made NO mention of his refusal after I specifically told him to chart his refusal. Dr. Pio was really nice and really knowledgeable about STD protection for gay men such as myself. And completely non judgemental.
