My doctor recommended him as she has had patients that have really benefitted from Dr. Van Engel. She wanted me to see him to basically rule out if my symptoms were neurological based. Dr. Van Engel checked me over and reviewed all of my previous tests/medical history (there's a lot!). He said that he doesn't think my symptoms are neuropathy /neurological based and does not think he can help. And I super appreciate that honesty! Dr van Engel is the only neurologist who has helped with my genetic migraines. He prescribed the exact medication that finally controlled and eliminated my headaches.
