POST-SURGERY UPDATE: Compassion & Skill pre-op; op; and post I cannot add to previous review, thus, this report. Surgery @ Adventist Hospital proceeded well. Dr. Khalil's surgical team included multiple med-techs, nurses, and a rather high-spirited anesthesiologist (she was "a hoot"). Pre-op prep was comprehensive and well organized @ Kaiser's different Bakersfield facilities (Stockdale; Ming; Chester Ave.). 1. 6 days after I asked my PCP for a consult I had an appointment--astonishingly fortuitous 2. I arrived 12 minutes early-and was immediately greeted by ANNA, his assistant 3. He then reviewed my symptomology; history; concerns; and goals. He was TOTALLY familiar with my chart 4.
