The office staff were very professional in welcoming me for x-rays and preparing me for surgery.Dr. King reviewed my history with me and assured me about the coming procedure.Surgery was smooth. Anesthesiologists helped me understand their procedures prior to surgery. All staff in hospital team were superb and insured I was comfortable and ready to be discharged.
Such a horrible experience. My mother’s knee will never be the same again. Life altering in a very negative way. We had to take my mother to another Dr. to repair her knee. Please do not go to Dr. King.
Dr. King did a knee replacement on me in late 2019. The incision took over a year to heal...only after I insisted on seeing another doctor for wound care. In fact, it is still not completely healed because there was too little skin left to heal completely. I'm going to have to have the surgery redone. Dr. King did an anterior left hip replacement for me in 2018. It’s never been right. I tried to tell him it wasn’t right. He took more X-rays and insisted it was a good surgery and placement. Four years later, the only time I was pain-free was when I was taking the Tramadol he prescribed for me. I’m not going to take a synthetic opioid the rest of my life to be pain-free because he couldn’t get my hip right. Horrible bedside manner. Condescending. Currently looking for a new ortho that can hopefully help me.
Dr King revised initial TKR from another surgeon. I saw him today for knee n joint pain. Was given injections , and Dr King took the time to find right spot. He actually really listens to me, and I trust his judgement. Wait time was perfect. Checked in and within half hour saw him n back on road. He is compassionate, empathetic, and proactive to avoid surgery. His staff is amazing and that’s more than a plus.

On Nov23 I had a total hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. King. I felt it incumbent on myself to write this review. I realize that patients will recover from this operation in various ways, this is only my experience. After surgery I was helped out of bed and walked with a walker for awhile. Day2 I woke early and decided to practice walking again with the walker after what seemed like minutes I felt strong and steady, I dropped the walker in my room and began to walk the corridors unaided. Dr King took me on as a patient after failed knee replacement from another ortho. He has operated on me three times. Dr King is consistent in giving the best care and very attentive post operatively. I came with a jacked up knee and I know I wasn’t a surgeons dream! The staff is wonderful and scheduling quite easy. It’s still slow moving with actual visit. I get that emergencies come up. This was hands down the best decision I could have made.
Sorry I ever went to him. Here it is three years later and I am in terrible pain every day. He messed up and knows it. Never should have operated on my knee while the inflammation was so severe. Should have waited but he said all the swelling and pain and inflammation would be gone. Never has gone at all. I am worse than before the surgery.
Caring Doctor and Staff - Dr. King took me as a new patient after I could not get any relief or answers from my former local orthopedic surgeon. Dr. King was able to get new MRI ordered and gel shot approved within three weeks of my initial appointment. He took time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions and offered options. My knee honestly feels better already.
