He performed an unsuccessful kyphoplasty on my low back. He wouldn’t even return my phone call about my bill much less the pain I was in.
McGuire is a horrible doctor. I let him do surgery on my back, and now I’m stuck with severe back pain. The pain is worse than beforehand. I tried to see him, but he won’t return my calls. He’s rude, but I could understand that if he showed an ounce of caring and followed up as a doctor should.
I think this man is old and tired and doesn’t care to do anything to help anyone anymore. He Didn’t really exam me, order images, or give any options for care. Basically said yea back pain sucks most people deal with it sorry have a good day. However I am on state Medicaid at the moment so could be why.
I was introduced to Dr. Daniel McGuire a few days before Christmas, in excruciating back pain. Within 5 minutes he knew what my problem was, ordered an MRI (had one a month earlier) to guarantee that nothing had changed. Faithful to his word, he did surgery on me the day after Christmas (his family is in Des Moines) & I will be eternally grateful to he & the doctor that recommended him.
