Went to Dr Prohaska for a second opinion after problems from an ACL reconstruction surgery performed by a different specialist. We cannot say enough positive things about him. He was very professional, thourough and a very skilled surgeon. It’s not always easy having to clean up another surgeon’s work, but he did so without difficulty.
Shoulder worse than before the surgery. Called to speak to him three times. Not once did I get through. His staff blamed me and the physical therapists. More pain and less motion than before. Very poor work and a very rude staff.
I was very nervous in scheduling iwth Dr. Prohaska, but was reassured to make that decision thanks to a Shawnalee. She spoke highly of the doctor, knew how to answer all my questions concerning what he practiced, and was very sweet in the process. I'm so grateful for her.
Loved everything about their office after taking a fall and hurting my shoulder. Shawnalee Wilborn was super helpful while setting up my appointment, Everything was a breeze from start to finish!
He left my husband worse off after surgery than he was before. Prohaska insisted that everything was fine. It want. The surgery severed the quad muscle and left my once marathon running husband in pain walking up stairs. Advice.....ask if the surgery is experimental. Ask how many times the surgeon has actually preformed this particular procedure. Dr. Prohaska, an injury may have hurt him, but you ruined him.
Dr. appeared to be in a hurry, like he couldn't spend much time with me. He scanned my MRI do quickly that he didn't notice the tear that the Radiologist found, advised me to do exercises & hurried me out. I still have severe pain & now no-show else will see me because he has. Very disappointed.
