I have read a few of the reviews here and have to make a review of my own. I have seen it written hes arrogant pompous and an ok surgeon at best. In my encounter with him I found him not to be pompous or arrogant just simply brutally honest Dr Gaylon is a superior quality surgeon who spent this past holiday resecting a tumor from my spine very carefully preserving as much function as he could I should not be walking or have bladder control but I do thanks to a fine surgeon

I have dealt with Dr. Galyon on several ocassions and in several capacities over 3 years. He is a very little man with an undeserved ego.He is an OK surgeon at best. I've witnessed him not even being able to use a simple suctioning device. His social skills are that of an inept recluse. He usually speaks so quietly and mumbled that the only thing you end up hearing are his frequent childish outbursts that he frequently uses to belittle nurses or family members. Bottom line, choose someone else.

This Dr. has no courtesy, he is a rude pompous, arrogant individual. He actually refused to speak with my wife, in the hospital when her mother was dying following a stroke. He put his hand up like stopping traffic and told my wife, I have a Dr on the case and he will answer your questions. Mind you he was the surgeon and treating Dr.

I have had 3 successful surgeries with Dr. Galyon. Each surgery was perfect - If I needed another surgery and Dr. Galyon was not available I would seek a surgeon out of the area. I trust him 100%. He has always used surgery as the last resort, initially recommending PT and/or steroid injections. There is most always no longer than a 10 minute wait to get in for an appt. He is extremely efficient. He is the only Doctor in that practice I ever recommend.
