Danforth Animal Hospital began in 1981 as the "Downtown Animal Clinic," in a little red brick building at the corner of 3rd and Broadway in Edmond. The staff consisted of Dr. Ron Laughlin and his wife Nancy. By 1986 the practice had outgrown that small building and was moved to the current location at the corner of Danforth and Chowning. To better meet the needs of our clients and their pets, the new building was designed and constructed specifically as a veterinary hospital. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Randy came in for his first visit with Dr. Adam and the team here was so patient with him. Randy came from the shelter and usually has to be muzzled when giving shots just because he’s always been sick, anxious, and nervous around new people. The staff welcomed Randy with treats and love ❤️He didn’t even realize he received several shots and had blood drawn (big baby 🤷♀️). All of our fur babies 🐶 love coming in for their check ups. I took my little baby/kitty cat, Izzy there when she was sick. I had no idea she was as bad off as she was, it was more than likely a birth defect. The veterinarians were so sweet, they sent me to BluePearl where she unfortunately went to pet heaven. We miss her so much and always will. Since moving back home, I came back to get the rest of my mail that wasn’t forwarded yet and they sent me a card showing their sympathy. Wonderful Vets, been going for years. They go above and beyond and truly love the animals!
We love Danforth Animal Hospital! We use them for our routine care as well as the times my dog has gotten sick. I’ve always been seen promptly and I’ve even been able to drop him off for an appointment when he got sick all of a sudden and I had to go back to work. I know my fur child is in the best hands here. I highly recommend Danforth if you’re looking for a vet.
Dr Laughlin and the staff at Danforth Animal Hospital have taken incredible care of our animals for many years. Going above & beyond to provide comfort in sad times or to assist in making appointment times with 2 rambunctious golden retrievers a little easier. I trust their opinions, veterinarian skills and experience to keep our furry family members happy & healthy.
