service leaves something to be desired Went into the restaurant today to pick up some carry out. The entire time I was waiting for my food the person behind the counter was picking at her teeth with a tooth pick. The food was good but the service leaves something to be desired. I really hope that this person didn't handle any food while picking at her teeth!
Good food, but not a lot of choices The menu is one page (front/back) and there's good choices, just not a lot of them. Everything I've had there was really good, but a bit pricey. Good atmosphere.
Don Amsden I recently had dinner at Dandino's in goshen IN. We had six in our party. Our waitress was Shanna who was vigilante in her attentiveness to us. In fact she can actually deliver cocktails faster than I can drink them (No easy task). The menu offers seafood, pork, steak and of course chicken. We had appetizers including Oyster's Rockafeller. Awful experience I had one of the slowest restaurant experiences there, taking over a hour to just get water delivered to our table. Our order was delivered to our table after the table to next to us, never mind the fact we had been there for over a hour longer and had ordered first. When the order did arrive it was filled with mistakes and a waitress unkindly told us that asparagus was no longer available and won't be again ever. Crab sans claws....REALLY!! Twice I have been there and ordered King Crab only to have the crab served without the claws. However, I have enjoyed the other food there and the wait staff has always been good. The Managers leave much to be desired.
Wonderful Dandino's is one of my favorite places to eat. Food is good, service is good. And their $5.00 lunch is amazing. I get two grilled pork chops, a potato, salad, and drink for this price. I have to take one chop home. Love you guys!!
Poor service Very substandard service. The server was not very friendly, her service was completely unsatisfactory. I had to flag her down more then once when we needed refreshed cocktails. In fact, one of her regulars pointed out that I was trying to get her attention. At the end, when we were ready for coffee & dessert, she whisked away our plates, one of which had over 1/3 of my steak left on it that I had intended to take to my dog. POOR MANAGER We made a reservation for 16 people to celebrate my Father's 96th birthday. We drove for 1 1/2 hours from Michigan to have a nice birthday dinner. It was on a Tuesday night, September 13, 2011 @ 6:00PM, which is prime rib night. To start with it took me 25 minutes to get a glass of water & a Bloody Mary.
