They have black mold in apartments in DuPo,IL 62239 kaestner Dr My fiance got stage 2 black mold in lungs and my Rottweiler has black mold in her lungs as well. We have a 11yr old child and I that had bad headaches and constantly tired. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE... THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, The landlord is a SLUMLORD That doesn't fix anything and is hard to get in touch with.. the apartments are NOT up to code, they have old appliances that look like they're from the 1800's... There is a very bad ROACH infestation,even after exterminating, they are still there... I've been with dandell since 2016. I call with a maintenance problem and they always make sure I get taken care of. Diane and Joy in the office are very helpful and friendly as well.

Absolutely WORST EXPERIENCE! I moved into my apartment without a stove or oven, they said it would be in in a couple days, turned into 2 months. Then my refrigerator went out, that took another month. I had to contact them SEVERAL times a day just to attempt to get help with these problems. Now, our toilet is pouring out water, I called for maintenance they said they would put me in the book and I was suppose to turn off my water. It’s been 5 DAYS without a toilet! I have been battling with Dandell for almost a month about a repair that was made, and initially approved by the property owner, then later deemed not fit. In the midst of trying to contact various people to see what I could do to fight this, I left multiple messages with the office that were never returned, AND the property owner went ahead and purchased the second replacement door without my permission, which I was told about after asking him not to proceed. This is the worst apartment management company I have ever dealt with my place was never inspect thus not move in ready. I was lied to about this. Also someone else had keys to my place because when I wasn't here someone was going through my things. They made me wait 4 days before changing my locks. There is an ant and wasp infestation and black mold present. I have been here 6 months on a 12 months lease which I am breaking due to health and safety issues.

I've been with Dandell since 1998 and I absolutely love them , they always go above and beyond to ensure that everything is okay. If I have any issues regardless time of day or night I get immediate responses and solutions. I love Joy, Diane, Dan and of course can't forget Mrs Peggy ,ya'll rock and will always be the best property management ever. Keep up the great work and continue the great customer service.

I am tired of always calling to get them to fix things and they never do till they get ready,i guess it's all about getting every body rent money,some apartments have bedbugs in them,becareful any place you rent apartment or house from.i wish to move sooner or later ,I can't deal with this damn mess,refrigator makes noise,heater makes poping noise.n o cover cap for outside sewer in yard,dont clean gutters on house.
