RecommendedIf you find yourself in San Francisco and want to have an amazing evening, go to the Dancing Yak. The food, drink and atmosphere is the best of the best. I recommend the momo. You will feel like you have magically travelled to Kathmandu. I cannot recommend this place enough.

RecommendedGreat Nepalese place in the Mission. Recommend the Lamb Aloo and the Butter Chicken. They have new lunch specials that the manager told me about but I haven't tried yet. Looking for an alternative to Burma Love which is too crowded these days; Dancing Yak just across the street on Valencia.

RecommendedThis place is good. It’s a pretty big restaurant and the food is tasty. The only complaint I have is that they should include naan with the thali meals. There’s lots of varieties in the thali meals with a small amount of rice. It would’ve been better if they included naan with that. The service was good. I recommend this place.
RecommendedI LOVE EVERYTHING about this restaurant! The layout & decor- the LOUNGE, the Proprietor Suraksha & her waitstaff, the Authentic DELICIOUS Nepali Dishes & Custom crafted cocktails! I haven't tried one dish that I didn't thoroughly enjoy- on the contrary everything was exceptionally flavorful! It's become my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood since opening & I frequently pop in for dinner or happy hour at least 2-3x's per month! A truly joyful dining experience! Try it!
