Helpful, professional and flexible! Dr.Kurtz is clearly extremely talented, his office and equipment are state of the art, his staff was courteous and well trained. Operation went extremely well, quick and efficient. Post op was a breeze, felt great even after 2 implants placed. I couldn't recommend him enough, I wish I had found this place sooner! Had Surgery yesterday with Dr. Kurtz, an extraction and implant placement. After the Local anesthetic wore off my mouth felt as if I had no surgery at all, well done!
Great experience with Dr. Kurtz! He and his staff take the time to explain the procedures and what you can expect. I am having quite a bit of dental work done, multiple procedures and wanted an oral surgeon that I could feel comfortable with, had the latest technology and seemed incredibly knowledgeable about the oral surgery I needed. The office is new, extremely clean and decorated so you feel more at ease in the dental chair. I am definitely very happy I chose Dr.Kurtz and his staff.
Procedure done well. The billing process exceptionally poor - quoted a $ for service and required payment up-front. While not super customer friendly practice at least understandable- issue is that post surgery, another sizeable bill comes in! No satisfactory attempt to explain or resolve the issue equitably. Be very careful with what you’re signing up for with this dr- very $ focused, vs customer-centric.
Dr Kurtz is the best of the best. I was a very difficult case and he performed with excellence. Perfect result and very little discomfort after. The doctor and his staff are very caring and professional. Jodie

I recently had a tooth that broke and was concerned because of the root canal done on the same tooth 3 years prior, I called for an appointment and the scheduling coordinator was extremely accommodating given my crazy work schedule. I saw Dr.Kurtz at the New Milford office location and had to have an Apico surgery , he eased any anxiety and did a phenomenal job alongside his team of surgical assistants. I would absolutely recommend Dr.Kurtz and his practice to any family or friends.
Very bad experience. I waited 2.5 hours past my appointment time. The doctor recommended what turned out to be much more than I actually needed according to other oral surgeons. He also did a very expensive scan on my mouth that wasn't covered by my insurance without telling me this. The staff was horribly disorganized and no one could tell me what my insurance would cover. Now I am getting huge bills for the scan he did and he won't adjust them even after he was informed of all this.
Love Dr Kurtz. My son's had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed. Since my own surgery did not go well 35 years ago with a different oral surgeon, I was very worried. Everything went extremely smoothly, there were no complications and they healed beautifully. He did a great job of putting us at ease. We went to the New Milford office and it was state of the art, clean, and the staff was friendly.
