I just completed a two day workshop here and I loved it. Successfully made three different rings including a bezel cup with a cabachon which turned out far better than I expected. Dana is a patient instructor who took the time to make sure every student had a great finished product. The class was small and intimate with plenty of room to spread out and all the tools you needed to make your piece. Will definately be returning in the Spring for a longer session. Thanks Dana!!!
Danaca Design Studio is a great place to take classes. The teachers are incredibly skilled and generous with their knowledge. I have found both Open Studio and Independent Study to be a great way to work on projects while surrounded by other artists and their creative energy!
Took the cynthia toops micro mosaics class and loved it. Loved the studio, the teacher, the equipment, the bagel place down the street, too! Can't wait to sign up for more classes!! Danaca Design is a real Seattle treasure!
My favorite creative space to be- the silversmithing classes, staff, & workshop are top-notch. An awesome place to learn how to metalsmith! Dana, the owner, totally rocks!
Dana was so patient and kind when she helped me get over my torch phobia...I now teach metalworking internationally and feel really lucky to have such world class teachers so easily available!
A real gem. Great classes, tons of tools to use in open studio and mentored study.
