We serve oysters on the half shell, fried oysters, broiled oysters, oyster stew, oyster Rockefeller and a Cajun oyster sandwich. Our oysters, fish,draft beer and wine are all local. Best clam chowder ever! Friendly staff, great location...absolutely no reason to not go.
This restaurant has been in my husband's family since it's inception over a hundred years ago. It is owned and operated by his cousin, Keoni Wachsmuth (4th generation). The food is wonderful, the fish is fresh (never frozen), the atmosphere is pleasant, and the tap list features my favorite IPA Pallet Jack by Barley Brown. No trip to Portland's Old Town is complete without a stop at this wonderful restaurant.

Enjoyed light appetizers outside on a nice Sunday afternoon. Food was very good - Oysters Rockefeller and chicken Caesar salad. Dressing seemed homemade - definitely worth it. Service a little weak - waitress seemed to be in charge of both indoor and outdoor.
Best experience. Made us feel right at home. Best food and very pleasant atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again!
