Very thorough physician. Pleasant office visits where problems were addressed and discussed. Staff very nice. Appreciate the skill and treatment by Dr. Guttman
He took the time to make sure the final surgery was successful to what I wished for in my shoulder.
Dan is a fantastic surgeon. He understood my desire to swim again and went the extra mile to repair BOTH of my shoulders so that I am swimming again!!! Dan was very honest about the commitment and time needed on my part to achive my goals thru Physical therapy. Dr. Guttmann and APEX PT are a winning team.
Surgery and post-surgery in Taos was outstanding! Very professional and at the same time attentive and friendly. Was VERY surprised at the LACK of pain after the pain blockers wore off, .I had been warned. by folks who undergone this type of surgery to expect severe pain at that point in time. Never happened, attribute that to the quality of the procedure and following instruction as explained.
I wasn't sure how to approach my injury but once I got here everyone has helped me get back my health, from the staff with Dr. Guttman to the surgery and all the physical therapy. Feels very time tested and methodical, I'm so grateful!
Overall, the entire experience was really good. The diagnosis and planning for the surgery was quick and easy and clear, and the actual surgery and aftermath went far smoother than I could've imagined, despite how intensive the surgery was. I was a bit surprised by how brief the follow-up appointments were, and I'm surprised that he never conducted a post-surgery physical exam - we only had a verbal discussion each time. But since I'm recovering very well, perhaps he felt that wasn't needed.
