Dr. Guttmann is an excellent surgeon who cared deeply about my progress.
All interactions have been professional and thorough. From first appointments, through the surgery, and especially into the rehabilitation phases, Dr. Guttmann has been forthright in explaining what has happened and what to expect. He provides explicit, accurate, and thorough explanations of very complex orthopedic systems and behaviors (even video!). Everything appears (and feels) to be going well and I am excited to return to full capabilities of my shoulder next year.
Dr. Guttmann has an obvious depth of knowledge, specific instructions for optimizing healing. I appreciate his explanations and recommendations applicable to my surgery and particular healing process.
Dr. Guttmann has been very proffessional and so caring. I have enjoyed so much being his patient. this year with my right and left shoulder surgery. I would do it all over again. Dr Guttman diagnosed the problem in my shoulder and has done a reverse shoulder replacement. Recovery has been better than I expected with very little pain.
