I had stage 4 Colin and liver cancer in 2003 I believe. Dr. D'amco removed a tumor from my colin and a section of my liver. That was about 18 years ago. They have not found any cancer in my colin since. I would not hesitate to call on him again. He does my colinostpy every three years since than.
I was recently a patient of Dr. D'Amico, I cannot brag enough about the staff in his office. I want to give a big kudos to Patty his nurse, while I was about to jump out of my skin, she was professional and reassuring . Dr D'Amico is wonderful my family has been going to him for years. Excellent on all levels - Best there is. Very laid back and explains things in a way that is easy to understand, but extremely intelligent and knows his work inside and out.
Laid back approach is what I found but yet very professional. Could not of had a better doctor for my colonoscopy.
Dr. D 'Amico and his partner Dr. Shakumuri are 2 of the best colon surgeons around !! They have done hundreds of bowel resections.
I had colon cancer and had complete confidence in Dr D'Amico and his staff. Everything went exactly as he told me it would, the procedures, time frames and where i would be during my recovery. It went exactly as he told me. The only drawback is the wait time in his office but when i am being examinded i appreciate the time he takes with me.
