OMG! The office staff were very nice, but the doctor, was a different story. He sat me down for the eye exam (I guess his idea of an exam). He sat right in front of me and was blocking my view of the letter chart on the wall. After I told him about blocking my view, he just ignored me and kept on with the exam. Dr. Penick needs to retire. The staff was friendly and helpful but the doctor was awful. Not very good personally. He's offensive and insulting. Retirement is in his future. Hopefully!

Dallas Eye Associates are fraudulently posing as a clinic. They have not/will not release my contact prescription to me-- Reason being that they keep asking me to come back for follow-up visits (which are billable services). After the 2nd time, I told them I was not going to keep missing work to make these follow-ups and they have refused to release the Rx. I've been coming to this association for my eye exams and glasses for years. Unfortunately in the last year or so it's gone drastically down hill. Like the other review said, the equipment was shockingly filthy. Makeup and grease/dirt coated everything, it was obvious no one had done a wipe down in a long time. When they asked if I was interested in contacts and I said yes, they proceeded to give me the exam for those etc. without telling me it was going to be an additional several hundred dollars fee.
