My boyfriend bought an engagement ring that had a loose prong. I wasn’t able to wear the ring the week of our engagement as we were out of province and were told not to by a local jeweler as there was a high risk the diamond would fall out. I tried to contact the owner by phone to share my disappointing experience. I was told he was unavailable. I went into the store to try to speak with him and was told he only works weekdays. I walked into this jewellery shop searching for gold chain. The lady that assisted me showed me a 26” 10k gold chain that had a whopping price tag of $11,500 dollars! She also tried to offer me a 40% “discount” and reduced the price to $6,500 dollars. This is an absolute joke! Selling 10k gold chain that contains 41.7% gold for $11,500 is pure theft and nothing else. Even with the fake discount that they try and trick people with is still massively overpriced. Today, we brought the jewelry in for a complimentary cleaning, and owner Ken took great pride in bringing the shine back to original.
