My boyfriend and I usually love this place, but we went New Years' Eve and it wasn't a very good experience. We always see the manager, Loren (or owner, not sure) go table to table to chat. He never comes over to us! They had a special fixed menu for the night, so we ended up paying much more - it included dessert which we wouldn't normally order. Ok. So not too bad so far. The service and food was fantastic. We are definitely going to try to make it a tradition on spending New Year's Eve at Del Rae.
Pricey but well worth it! Service and food is top notch, interior decore is super romantic, and did I mention the service, hands down excellent....
I have been going to Dal Rae for many many years now! It was my aunts Nerva's favorite and we would go celebrate all our birthdays and special ocassions there. The food is amazing and the service is pretty much perfection. I usually eat the sea bass a la Ben, a must have, the steaks are as soft as butter and the ceasar salad, oh what can I say about the ceasar salad, the best I've had in my life, even better than at Ceasars in Tijuana.
