I hosted a bridal shower brunch for my soon to be daughter-in-law at Dakotah Rose Bed and Breakfast. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. Everything from the table decorations to the most delicious food, we were amazed at every detail the staff created for this event. I would highly recommend the Dakotah Rose Bed and Breakfast for any event you are looking to host! The attention to detail, amazing staff, and the atmosphere is unsurpassed!
From the initial phone call to the face to face meeting I felt anything but welcomed. The Owner is very unprofessional with the services she offers and pushed away my business on the phone and during our meeting. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience when inquiring about her services and trying to schedule a date for my event. In our conversation she even said " I don't mean to be a ..... Recently, I attended a bridal shower at "The Rose." From the beautifully decorated table to the amazingly scrumptious desserts, it was a delightful time for everyone! Hats off to Carol, the most gracious and friendly owner, for her ability to make you feel welcome and at home. This charming historical bed and breakfast will NOT disappoint!

Beautiful. Lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful hosts. Did I mention beautiful? If you go to Minot, do NOT stay in a hotel. The Dakotah Rose is a little less expensive, but way cooler than a hotel. Also, I loved the third floor ballroom set up as a game room. Go there!
This lovely perfectly-maintained historic property invites us to remember our past in seemingly enchanted rooms. The setting is quiet and all decor is authentic. Breakfast was delicious and the Dakotah Rose confirms that the B&B experience exceeds industrial hotels any day. We can all hope that our nation protects North Dakota from the ravages of fracking and this grand Victorian home gives us every reason to preserve wholesome, natural and quality living.
