I would strongly caution anyone considering moving into Dakota at Shepard. My experience has been extremely disappointing, mainly due to ongoing mold issues that management has refused to properly address. There has been visible mold affecting both the walls and structural wood in the unit. Yeah. Worst business dialog and conversation I have had in the entirety of business and commerce. It was somewhat justified in their defense however it extremely unprofessional. It's quite comical that they are still in business. I'm sure they get mistaken cold calls, however it's apparent that their staff, employees and or managers are incompetent at basic level communication skills /business etiquette. This Asset company is the worst! We had an agreed upon contract and while we were waiting on our packet to be signed from this Asset company they accepted another offer better than ours. This Dakota Asset Services does not stand by their word. We have a family that was all excited because we thought they were going to get the home and all their hopes and dreams were destroyed. Very bad company to deal with.

Complete scam artists. Did a rehab for them on a property and they stiffed me for 15k. Said I took too long (during the height of covid) when it was against the law to work on site in NY. Larry the asset manager won’t even answer the phone.
