I go there almost every week. All my friends who went there said "this is just like in Japan" Among those were the ones who used to own Japanese restaurants, go to Japan very often for their business and eat at top-notch restaurants in Tokyo and grew up in northern Japan like me where eating fresh catch seafood (sashimi) were norm in their daily life, etc. I am so speechless of the owner and his familly's passion for the food and service and so happy that we Austinites can enjoy the very best of Japan here in Texas.

I love how authentic the food taste here! It's never a disappointment. There noodles are freshly made, so it's not soggy compares to other japanese restaurants that serves udon.

I studied in Japan and this is the most authentic Japanese food I've come across in the Austin area. I had the curry udon--it was AMAZING! You can tell when a curry is from a premade package: this is most definitely NOT it. No, this is curry and udon that the restaurant creates themselves and you can taste the quality. Great, relaxed atmosphere and great hospitality. I will be coming back many more times.
