I discovered The Daily Grind this year and honestly it's the best coffee house I've been to in Maine. I feel very lucky it's so near my house! The owners and all the staff are wonderful.

Bought 28 bucks worth of pastries this am for my wife’s work. All of them tasted like dawn dish soap.... wife wrote to them to let them know to make sure no one else had the same.. just got an excuse of sorry they are made somewhere else. Not only would I NOT recommend I would go out of my way to let people to never go to this place. The response was that they get the food from the bakers bench in Westbrook... my wife ordered some cinnamon buns there SAME FREAKING DAY and they were the best I’ve ever had. Sorry you feel you have to post this but let me show you what I said to your wife. We do get our pastries fresh every day from the bakers bench. It wasn’t an excuse it was the facts. So this is how we handled it.
Excellent service, always. And the frozen mocha is perfection.
This is such a great local coffee shop! The owners are welcoming and friendly! The atmosphere is inviting and the coffee and chai lattes are delicious! 😊
