Won't be using them again – My 87 year old mother called John Dahl about a clogged sink and got an estimate around $150. The plumber took 3 1/2 hours - replacing the p-trap & sink stopper and charged her roughly $550. Assuming the pipes needed to be replaced, it's NOT a 3 1/2 hour job. When I called the office to ask about the bill, I got a number of convoluted explanations - "maybe the plumber needed to climb on the roof to snake out the drain though the vent pipe" (he didn't) - and an increasingly rude and defensive attitu... read more

Gas Leaks – Dahl Plumbing installed a forced air system in our home. I told the technician that I smelled gas, and he said it was normal. So I had PG&E come out and by merely tapping on two of the flexible pipe connections, they fell apart. PG&E found a total of 3 gas leaks.
faucet repair – dahl plumbing was the best plumbers i have ever used. i had several other plumbers out to try to fix a faucet problem and they were unable to solve the problem. the gentleman from dahl was on time and was very professional and fixed the problem the first time out.
Job not Completed! – The Tech had the personality of a rock, and seemed to be a real unhappy person! Maybe got up on the wrong side of the bed. On top of that he left the job uncompleted, as he left the access panel off after he stated the job was complete and he has out the front door. Just not a professional job completed by an unhappy individual. Would of been nice if he might of said, "Thank You" for your business as he headed out the door. The icing on the Cake was when the Tech asked me how to remove the service panel!... read more
