I suddenly had a leak into my ceiling. He came over quickly to give me a free assessment (turned out it was a long-term leak that just suddenly came through the ceiling). They had it completely repaired by the end of the week.
I feel I was charged for materials that were not used. I was told they charge by the hour. But the estimate had two sheet of plywood and 1/2 of one was used, charged for four bundles of shingles and only two were used.
On a previous review I did on this company there was confusion on my part as to how the job was charged. They DID NOT charge by the hour and materials used to do the job were different than the plywood mentioned. They purchased and used wood on the roof instead of plywood. I'm sorry I did not understand the job was charged as a flat rate.
We hired DR&G to complete a flat roof job on our home. Not knowing a great deal about roofing, & after interviewing other companies, we put our trust in them. The old adage about getting everything in writing is so true. BUT, how do you know what to "get in writing" if you don't know what to ask for? We are asking to negotiate with them regarding their price per linear foot of replacement wood. What I thought was $4.50 on the carbon, turned out to be $9.50/LF. Buyer beware! This is price gouging. Great Company that replaced my roof and all of the rotten wood . Job was well done by a wonderful crew . Very Hard workers that completed the job and maintained a clean job site . I highly recommend this company .
Accommodating to my schedule
He came to access the problem, gave me a price and told me when and what time they would be back to do the repairs.. They came on time, completed the job and left no mess. They are very professional and I would recommend them to all.
