My in-office experience was just okay. I am pleased with the outcome of my scleral shell, though it did take two separate visits to get it right. During my first visit, I made certain requests for adjustments while they were making my shell. I was told it would "look better" and "be fine" once the swelling from the fitting went down. Three months later, for my checkup, these same adjustments were suggested to me and now it costs a lot more money than if it had been done the first time. I can live with this.....
