I booked with them because of the convenience of online therapy and they take my insurance. Unfortunately that is where the pros end. My first choice therapist wasn’t available so I booked with my second choice. In our first appointment we talked about a disagreement I’d recently had with my partner that we had since resolved but I brought up with the hopes of the therapist providing insights on how to avoid that type of conflict again. Terrible experience. Therapist asked me to share traumatic personal experiences beginning with my first memory. I said I did not want to do that, however I was willing. Then after less than 5 sessions, she proceeded to tell me I should find a different therapist because of how horrific my trauma is. AVOID THIS BUSINESS. They do NOT provide services that you can trust.
They are a joke, and not a good one. The only reason I was going through them is because they are subcontractord by Kaiser, but I requested an internal Kaiser appointment since Cyti canceled on me 3 times. Can'tbelievetheywouldcancela mental health evaluation 3 times. I am filing a complaint with Kaiser, canceling 3 appointments is ridiculous.
I tried Cyti Psychological for the first time during last summer of 2024. The first therapist I was matched with I still meet with to this day and has made an incredible impact on my mental health progress. The process of getting matched was very quick and simple.
