I don't drive for Cypress! But I've talked to a lot of their driver's over the years and they all said they get home every weekend! Pulling a Flat Bed isn't for everyone ,but we go to bed at night! LOL it might be hard work and you get dirty! But most of the places we load and unload don't waste your time like pulling a van or reefer! I don't know what Cypress pays their Driver's but it's not enough! LOL Pulling a Flat Bed isn't just a job but an adventure !
Have been with cypress for about 2 months now and can say this is one of the better trucking jobs. Yes, you work but its why its a job and not a vacation, however. With this job theres also a relaxed pace about it. Ive been able to shut down in areas and see old family n friends, have dinner then head on to my delivery in the morning. The milage is good with averaging 2200-2400 with out weekend run if i choose to run the weekend looking at about 2500-2800. They take care of you here and always seem to work with you. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS CRAP HOLE COMPANY, JUNK TRUCKS AND LIE ABOUT ABANDONMENT ON YOUR RECORD EVEN IF YOU DROP THE TRUCK IN THEIR TERMINAL IN TAMPA!!
