I love her! She changed my life !
Dr Africk was my son's surgeon after he was in a car accident 8/1998 in central IL. At the time, she was at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. Chad had just graduated high school and was due to start at the Univ of IL the next week. We are so grateful that she was his surgeon!! She did surgery on his spine, which was fractured, installing titanium rods, and fused bone to areas of the spine. It actually took a whole year for this hateful , Very rude person of a surgeon to finally realize I needed neck surgery . What’s the worst part was , My primary doctor actually did all the research and test’s . MRI ‘s. Cat scans , X-rays , . All this person wanted to do is send me to a pain management clinic . After 4 months dealing with lost hope of any kind of help . That’s when my primary doctor ordered the MRI and the other digital imaging . Dr Affrick helped me and I had the best care ever.
Dr. Aflick recently performed Anterior Cervical Discectomies and Fusion surgery on me. Prior to surgery I was experiencing excruciating pain on a daily basis for several months. My consultation with Dr. Africk was very informative and in detail she explained my issues and what the surgery would entail. My surgery has been very successful. I commend Dr. Africk for her surgical skills and would highly recommend her for anyone needing this type of surgery.
