Dr. Cynthia and her team are amazing. I came in for an emergency consultation after going to the ER twice for sharp pains in my heart and shortness of breath. This is the best cardiologist I've ever met! The cardiologists in my hometown of Miami had no availability until October, so I called Dr. Thaik and her team was able to get me an appointment 4 days out. I love the professional and warm welcome from Dr. Thaik and her team.
I have been a patient of Dr. Thaik for several years. She gives me a thorough examination and evaluation of my cardiac and holistic health at my bi-annual appointments. She takes time to listen to my questions and her suggestions have helped to improve my health. Dr Thaik sees a whole person and evaluates the care and patient response accordingly. She gives complete explanations of why procedures are done and the results of the procedures. Each time I have visited, I am treated courteously and professionally. Dr. Thaik listens carefully to any questions or concerns I have and takes time to give me complete answers. Her staff is uniformly friendly and professional. When I leave the office I know I have the necessary information to improve my health.
Dr. Thaik has been my cardiologist for more than 10 years. During that time she has helped me to bring blood pressure under control, encouraged me to lose weight, made me aware of my sleep apnea and helped me to get my insurance to get a mouthpiece to ameliorate that condition. Dr. Thaik was instrumental in prescribing me certain diet protocols to reduce weight and inflammation prior to my hip replacement surgery. I am six weeks post surgery and feel amazing and am walking without pain. The Surgeon and my Physical Therapist are so impressed with my quick recovery. I had a great experience with Dr Thaik. I went in to see her due to chronic fatigue, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. She did cardiac tests and sent me for lab tests. When I went back for my results she was so thorough I was impressed. She looked beyond the reference numbers given in the lab results. I went initially went to Dr. Thaik because I have heart arrhythmia. She did a thorough battery of tests and took the time to go over each one with me. It turns out mine is a "keep an eye on it" case. A few years later, I went to her to try to lose weight and get healthy.
