I saw Dr. Uy and she is really wonderful. Super knowledgeable, easy to talk to (hard to find in some psychiatrists), and willing to collaborate with me with a medication that works. I've had horrible psychiatrists who treat you like a specimen and their office is like a revolving door. I'm happy I was recommended to this practice!
Have seen Dr Berry for many years. She is the only psychiatrist that has found the "magic" combination to stabilize my condition. She is incredibly smart and her store of knowledge goes way beyond what you would expect in a psychiatrist. I truly am quite lucky to have found her.
My former psychiatrist of over 20 years died of cancer several years ago. I have been very pleased with Dr. Berry. She is patient and understanding. If there is any problem, she responds quickly. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Berry.
I found her to be too regimented and difficult to work with. I started seeing her after my doctor left the practice. Now I see why he left.
I have been seeing Dr. Berry for a number of years now and could not have asked for anyone more caring and compassionate. I am a psychiatric nurse and what drew me to her practice years ago was the depth of her knowledge of emotional/medical/nutritional issues and her clear desire to help. This has never changed in all these years. Dr. Berry is a psychiatrist and not a therapist. That being said, she has been a compassionate and very intelligent listener and thus so helpful . What more could one ask for. S
Doctor Berry Has been a life saver for me. As a physician, I have found her treatment decisions to be excellent And with positive results. The office staff is very helpful also.
Saw Dr. Berry for a few years and found that every time I went to see her she was ready to give me a new pill. I honestly don't believe she understands OCD, which is what I have. If you have OCD, I would look around for a real expert in this field.
This one LOVES to prescribe more and more meds. Offers NO alternative therapy such as exercise. Blatently ignores family input, like they don't live with the patient and see pt activity? Totally useless. Have seen no improvement just increased meds in 8 YEARS
Does not return phone calls, eager to prescribe medications way beyond your symptoms, does not listen to your desire to get off of medications & the dependency. And also, she will push her political beliefs on you. I felt worse after seeing her than I was before I saw her. Zero stars. You will leave your appointments thinking "Holy s--- this woman is crazy."
